InterCommunity Receives DMHAS Funding to Provide Young Adult Services

InterCommunity was the recent recipient of funding from the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS) to provide staff support to enhance and improve Young Adult Services within the agency!
¬†InterCommunity’s young adult initiative has ran as an unfunded program for many years. Here are some of our young adults and staff at an event last year at Real Art Ways in Hartford, CT.
“InterCommunity has always believed that young adults need and deserve opportunities for their future,” said Kimberly Beauregard, LCSW, President and CEO of InterCommunity, Inc. “For many years, we ran this program without funding, because we knew how important it was for our youth.”
