East Hartford, CT – InterCommunity, Inc. is now offering medication assisted treatment (MAT) for qualified patients in recovery for opioid addiction at its 281 Main Street, East Hartford community health center. With consultation from an InterCommunity provider, patients would be prescribed Suboxone, and monitored through the addiction recovery process.
InterCommunity began offering MAT at their 16 Coventry Street clinic in Hartford in 2016.
“Extending our MAT services to our East Hartford location allows us to reach more patients in need of these essential services. Our MAT clinical staff has helped numerous patients in their recovery from opioid addiction,” said Tracey Decker, Chief Integration Officer for InterCommunity.
