“In Their Own Words” Exhibition at InterCommunity Gallery

Let art and storytelling move you in "In Their Own Words,” an inspiring group art show featuring the exceptional talents of 20 local artists. Featuring museum-quality works that range from vivid and bold to delicately textured, the show seeks to highlight art’s unique power to tell a story, evoke emotions, and heal both the artist and the viewer. This exhibition aims to uplift the voices behind the art, highlighting the healing power of creativity and community with an interactive component: Gallery goers can scan a unique QR code next to each piece to listen to the artist’s story firsthand.

This free exhibition is open to the public October 23, 2025 through January 23, 2026 and is located at InterCommunity Gallery inside the InterCommunity clinic at 287 Main Street in East Hartford.
