In our goal to provide integrated health care services, InterCommunity explores innovative and alternative avenues for improving the health and wellness of our community.
The Gallery at InterCommunity Health Care enriches lives by fostering a connection between art and wellbeing. By providing free access to museum-quality works from local artists, we inspire hope, promote healing, and support the health of the whole person.
With four exclusive exhibits each year, The Gallery offers visitors a comfortable space to relax, contemplate, and reap the proven health benefits associated with viewing artwork, including:
- Supporting immune function
- Reducing stress and anxiety, and elevating mood
- Feeling more connected to others
- Lowering blood pressure
- Enhancing critical thinking skills
Incorporating art viewing into one’s life can facilitate improvement of overall wellbeing, and both mental and physical health.
